This is a slight post — two words of endorsement — but it points, cleanly and without any of the framing lapses of its siblings, at the same fiscal-restraint principle the framework holds on its spine, and the score reflects both the alignment and the thinness. The substance it endorses is a county's decision to join the state's government-efficiency initiative (the DOGE Florida effort to audit and streamline local government), passed 6-1. It advances the limits on government — the whole point of a government-efficiency audit is to subject the apparatus to scrutiny and trim what is wasteful (Article XII). It advances honest money and fiscal stewardship — treating the public purse as a trust to be examined rather than spent unexamined (Article X). It defends the taxpayer's property against waste (Article IX) and rests on the citizen's sovereignty over his government (Article II). And it does so without any of the flaws that tempered the series' other posts: no contested figure declared as fact, no loaded attack, no degrading epithet, no pronouncement of guilt — just a clean cheer for a local body joining an efficiency effort. Its factual reliability is correspondingly clean, which is why, despite its thinness, it scores with the fiscal-philosophy post (2026-0857, 74) and the contested-figure post (2026-0858, 73) rather than below them. What holds it from higher is exactly that thinness: Go Pinellas! endorses a direction — a county participating in an efficiency audit — without a word about what the audit will examine, find, or save, so the Standard credits the aligned direction while noting it cannot grade a result that is, at this stage, only a resolution to begin. As commentary it is scored on the 70/30 weighting with a Journalistic Integrity assessment. Tier 1 nets to 72; under the commentary weighting the result is 73 — Mostly America First.
